Project Description

DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: Piemonte DOC Pinot Nero

GRAPE CONTENT
: 100% Pinot Noir

CULTIVATION TECHNIQUE:
organically grown grapes, cultivated in harmony with the natural environment, without the use of herbicides, chemical fertilizers and other chemical products, certified ICEA

HARVEST AND PRODUCTION
The grapes are hand harvested at the end of August and selected before crushing. A cold steeping is made prior to the fermentation to extract the more complex aromas and to give to our Pinot Noir a deep colour. The fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in barriques in autumn.

POTENTIAL AGEING
The wine is aged in European oak barriques for 12 months before being bottled, adding complexity and body to this Pinot Noir. Ageing Potential: 7 to 9 years.

THE WINEMAKER’S COMMENTS
The wine shows intense aromas of cherries, ripe berries and toasty complexity. On the palate the wine reveals ripe tannins with good structure, fine complexity and long persistence.
